Dreams are moving!!!

It's crazy....the culmination of plans, upon plans, upon plans, is finally coming to fruition!  Two years ago, when we started this journey to reinvent the Blackwells, we had several goals in mind. First and foremost, above all, focus our family to follow Christ wholeheartedly, in all things. With that, we wanted this life to be an adventure in Christ, in living fully, and stepping out on faith. As many of you know, on March 16, 2013, we lost Robin's twin brother in a motorcycle accident. One thing that Zach's death taught us is that tomorrow is not promised, so we need to go where we feel called today, not tomorrow!
Over the last year, we've sold our house, we've prayed, bought an airstream and truck, prayed, and applied for teaching jobs, and prayed!  It's funny you make plans and you pray about them and pray about them and pray about them, but sometimes flesh and a cynical nature doesn't expect it to actually happen, yet God is always faithful!  When you pray for something, and that's His plan for your life, He is going to open the doors!
The Blackwells are moving to Nashville Tennessee!!!  God opened the doors and we are taking the adventure!  Stephen will be teaching 8th grade math  and pursuing songwriting!  We don't know where this adventure will lead, but we do know we are stepping out on faith and trusting God to lead. We don't want to look back on our life and say, "well at least we played it safe", we want to say, "what a ride God took us on!"  Like any good family of 2016, we are going to document this adventure online!  So if you would like to keep up with us, follow our new YouTube channel, Facebook page, Instagram page and blog, all called:  Reinventing the Blackwells.  There will be videos, pictures and stories about living tiny in our Airstream (did I mention that!!??:). adventures in teaching in Tennessee versus Texas, songwriting, navigating a new city, and most importantly this adventure of following Christ wholeheartedly to see where he takes us next!
